... MOUNT KINABALU...

Ari ni nak try buat entry Bahasa Inggeris pulak... hi.hi.hi. Bukan pandai pun... saja gatal nak cuba-cuba... Kalau terjumpa kesalahan tatabahasa..... shhhhhhhhhh! Jangan cakap kat org tau...

Mount Kinabalu known as one of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia.  Mount Kinabalu located in Kundasang District, about three and half hour driving from Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It is protected as Kinabalu National Park which is one of the richest floras in the world. Mount Kinabalu is the 4th tallest mountain in the Malay Archipelago and the tallest peak in Borneo's Crocker Range. It has been one of the major attractions in Sabah, Malaysia. Hundreds of thousands people, not only from our country but from all over the world visited National Park and climbed Mount Kinabalu every year. They enjoyed the adventure, the magnificent and the cool refreshing air...

When you reached Kinabalu Park Headquarters, you can see by your own eyes the beautiful mountain more clearly and closely. The next place to go before you start to climb the mountain is the Timpohon Gate. Timpohon Gate which is known as the starting point of the journey to the peak can be reached after a few minutes journey either by van or by walking from Kinabalu Park Headquarters. For those who excited to climb, don't forget to have your breakfast because the tracking from the foot of the mountain to Laban Rata takes between three to six hours..... ( It depends on you fitness and you strength ).

Laban Rata Rest House
After the long and tiring journey, you can take some hot delicious food and beverages at Laban Rata . The Laban Rata Rest house  also provides hot shower, comfortable and heated room to the climbers. Make sure you have enough sleep and rest before the last journey to Low's Peak of Mount Kinabalu because this is the most adventure part of it. Most of the climber climb to the summit early in the morning...... around 3.00 am!!! They have to climb on naked granite rock for two  to three hours. It is so cold and freezing, so you need to wear suitable sweater to warm you.
Low's Peak

Mount Kinabalu is a great place to visit... you will experience a lot of things... don't miss the opportunity to visit Mount Kinabalu when you come to Sabah.
